Oaks Cable Beach Resort

Sadly the restaurant was not open and due to the time of year (xmas) house keeping was also unavailable.Room was good, a comfortable chair to sit 8n would have been nice.The bed was comfortable and bathroom was good.

Great pool but that’s about it. Customer service was lacking, linen was old stained, mismatched, room needed quite a bit of maintenance moldy silicone, broken tiles, peeling laminate on vanity, marks on walls, breakfast was very limited, food quality lacking, people are living here on a semi or permanent basis there was washing regularly hung on make shift washing lines next door. Broome accommodation is way overpriced, the oaks is not a 4 star hotel it’s a 3 star at most. We stayed in a studio apartment perhaps the 1&2 beds are better….If you stay here you need to use the bus or rent a car to get to restaurants, shops or even Cable beach it definitely is not that that close to beach side.

Was looking forward to our stay here but was very disappointed to say the least! The towels were old and worn with holes, the bathroom was in desperate need of a good scrub or better a renovation. There was one mirror in the two bedroom apartment in the bathroom and it needs replacing as it was foggy. The couch was uncomfortable to sit in as it was broken in the middle. The TV in the main bedroom kept turning on randomly. There was nowhere to put anything on like a chest of draws in the bedroom. There was no washing up or dishwasher powder not a tea towel or dishcloth in the kitchen. Not worth over $400 a night!!!

Bit out of town, but the Divers tavern and the local store are a God send, a 15-minute walk. we did it in the wet season, and all the better restaurants were closed. The Divers tavern has a monster that serves. Should have signs out warning of the snakes the main pool was closed so had to use the two others they get a bit warm as the Weather but all in all a great spot and the bus stop takes you into town and back wet season every hour dry 30min

Will not be coming again! Came during Feb season and the main pool was closed. Bar closed and also the restaurant. The receptionist was rude and arrogant and told us we should have known that the pool would have frogs due the season!!! Then why have the resort open? The 2 other pools had frogs too and I mean like more then 100 inside. They don't even offer you a refund and are very rude. Like I said it has been a horrible experience. The scooter we rented got damaged cos someone tried to teal it snd on top of it we are getting charger and excess . Overall a bad experience. Do yourselves a favour and stay somewhere else.

Beautiful resort makes you feel relaxed even when you first go to reception to check in.Our rooms were spacious and could easily accommodate our whole family (4 5 people)There are multiple pools on the premises which is perfect for safe swimming in a hot and very humid environment.The staff are friendly and helpful and the room service staff are regular keeping your accommodation nice and fresh.One thing that could do with some improvement is the shower water seems to seep into the bathroom floor leaving you with either a very soggy bathmat or a very slippery floor but maybe this can be looked into at a later date.Still a very lovely place to stay and while we were here we were also visited by wallabies and other local wildlife which made our stay magical.

Conveniently placed near Cable Beach and surrounding restaurants/pubs/bus stop. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Main pool was sizeable and clean with surrounding pools for space and privacy. Rooms were nice but a tad dirty with a lot of creepy crawlies on the bed, floor etc and unswept tiles before check in.

Cleaning needs to pick up in apartment 108:someone elses t-shirt left in the bedroom from a previous guest. Mold in shower needed attending to.Had to wait for an hour after official checkin time for access to the room. Porta-cot was set up in dining area rather than the second bedroom. Late checkout was not registered on the computer so we were asked to vacate at 10am when we hadnt started packing.On a positive note, the pools were great and the staff were superfast to open up when we accidentally locked keys in the appartment.
