Hidden Grove Retreat

Quiet! So so quiet!!We loved staying here listening to the bird song and enjoying a wine on the deck watching the kangaroos and emu..such a nice place to relax and unwind! The massage was so relaxing we will definitely be back

Lovely 4 night stay in this peaceful, secluded spot. All amenities provided, with thoughtful touches. Walking trails within 40 hectare boundaries. Hot tub and log fire. Food/platters can be ordered in advance, but byo too as nearest IGA is in Donnybrook 30 mins away..

Great weekend getaway for Adults only if you need to unwind & recharge. Lovely self-contained chalets surrounded by nature & lots of walking tracks where you can see kangaroos & bunnies! Tracy & Tony are very obliging hosts & have good knowledge of the area. Would definately recommend & hope to return.

Absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. We had a beautiful breakfast hamper on arrival with a bottle of bubbles and chocolates AND the spa was at perfect temp ready to go, couldn’t of asked for more, all our expectations were met and exceeded. Owners were LOVELY and so thoughtful of every last detail - thank you so much we will be back hopefully very soon!

After using the hosts website to make a booking that clearly allows for children and infants, I made a booking.Upon arrival, after a three hour drive with children in the car, the extremely unprofessional owners then informed me that children where not allowed as their accommodation did not cater for children.I then showed the unwelcoming owners how the booking was made using their system and they still then were unwilling to make any effort to accommodate and instead just refunded the money and left us with no options in the area very late on a Friday afternoon.While this incident may not be not be relevant to most people, it does and should highlight the owners response to providing quality service.I would encourage anyone visiting the area to really consider other more welcoming accommodation providers in the area and avoid this provider.

Absolutely beautiful weekend get- away at Hidden Grove Retreat on the last weekend in May. 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the rat race and relax.This was our second visit in the last 5 years and once again we fell in love with the spacious two storey cottage and the heated spa that was ready, warm and bubbling, for our arrival.We loved the scrumptious breakfast hamper waiting for us (an upgrade), the log fire, extra rugs, wonderful views, the wildlife, the lovely walk around the property, and our, gracious hosts, Tracey and Tony.

Practically need a 4WD to get in on the bush tracks. Lots of dams and creeks unguarded - small children. Cabins nice but steps access only. Thick bush on 3 sides so easy to get lost or kids to wander off. In summer with bush, water & heat - snake haven.Caretakers/ owners are very nice and helpful.

Thank you to Tony & Tracy for an amazing stay. The Chalet was perfect, clean & like new throughout. We were pleasantly suprized with the beautiful breakfast hamper & bottle of bubbly on our arrival. Anyone wanting a quite getaway in a beautiful setting this is the perfect place. We will return.Pete & Philippa .D.
